Kevin is a native-born Floridian, grew up on the central-Florida Gulf coast, and has lived in the Suwannee River region since 1975. He resides in Alachua County, but his family goes back several generations in north Florida and southern Georgia. He attended the University of Florida, and has a degree from the College of Agriculture, where his coursework included classes in agronomy, horticulture, fruit crops, soil science, botany, geology and meteorology. Kevin is a state-certified general real estate appraiser, and has career experience in real estate and finance. After almost 29 years with Farm Credit of Florida, he retired in 2014 and started his own appraisal company, specializing in evaluations of farms and timberland.
He was first appointed to the District Board in 2011 by Governor Scott, and is now serving his second term.
