Unusually Wet November Kicks Off Fall Season

In north Florida we have started the month of November with abundant rainfall, especially compared to the last two months. Most areas in the Suwannee River Water Management District received over 2 inches of rain during the first two weeks of November (see attached graphic). Average rainfall (1932-2107) District wide over the past 30 years for November is 2.31 inches.

Live Oak in particular has been a rainfall hot spot in the last two weeks, with over 5 inches between November 1 and 15th. Average November rainfall in Suwannee County (1931-2017) is 2.53 inches.
