Crowdsourced Water Data Collection
How high is the waterText to S.A.V.E. (Springs & Aquifer Volunteer Efforts)

You can help the Suwannee River Water Management District (District) monitor water levels via text messaging. The District is testing a crowdsourcing approach to supplement collection of water level data at the following sites:

Wacissa River WAC
Falmouth Springs FAL
Peacock Spring PEA
Royal Springs ROY
Watermelon Pond WAT

If you spot the gage for one of these sites, please take a moment to text the station name exactly as it appears and the measurement at the water's surface to 321.765.3835. From the gage at Peacock, for example, you might text PEA 1.72 with PEA being the station name and 1.72 being the reading. Typical charges for texting apply.

The information you send will contribute to our knowledge base and help us efficiently improve our understanding and management of this resource. Thank you!
