Over 105,000 acres of District lands are available for deer, hog, turkey, and small game hunting. The majority of these lands are part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Wildlife Management Area (WMA) or Wildlife Environmental (WEA) programs.

For more information about WMA/WEAs, contact the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) at 386.758.0525 to request the annual WMA/WEA brochures or stop by your local tax collector's office to pick up a copy.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
August 17, 2017 -The White Springs tract in White Springs is closed for public use during week days.  The District will be conducting timber harvest operations.  Weekend users are asked to use caution on the trails.

The boardwalk at Pot Springs on the Withlacoochee tract in Hamilton County is closed for renovations.
