Description
The Falmouth Spring tract is primarily sandhill and upland mixed forest with slash pine plantation. The tract has Falmouth Spring, a second magnitude spring, which is a karst window and the spring run is rumored to be the world's shortest river. At the turn of the century, Falmouth Spring was known as Newland Spring.
Wildlife species include gopher tortoise, little blue heron, Florida spinypod, angel pod, atamasco lily, deer, turkey, and squirrel.

Recreational Activities
Falmouth Spring is a featured recreation site. Visitors can swim in the spring and picnic in the park.
Allowable recreation opportunities on the tract include wildlife viewing, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding on administrative roads.
