Less Rain But High Groundwater Levels Remain

Levels in the Floridan Aquifer are beginning to reflect the very dry conditions of the past two months. The number of wells with levels above the 90th percentile continues to decline from its maximum in late January 2019 (see graphic). For the first time since December 2018, the majority of our weekly survey wells are at levels below the 50th percentile.
