June Governing Board and Committee Meetings to be Conducted Remotely

LIVE OAK, FLA., June 1, 2020 – The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) will hold its monthly Governing Board meeting on Tuesday, June 9 at 9:00 a.m. remotely. The committee meeting will immediately follow the board meeting unless otherwise noted. Following Governor DeSantis’ directions in Executive Order 20-52 to reduce public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, in-person attendance to the meeting will be limited. 

With the exception of the Governing Board Chair, all other Board members will be participating remotely. Only staff that are necessary for the meeting will attend in person at the District Headquarters in Live Oak, Florida. The attending staff will follow CDC guidelines throughout the meeting.
