LIVE OAK, FLA., Sept. 14, 2020 – The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) will remotely hold a Governing Board workshop, committee meetings and Final Public Hearing on Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget on Monday, September 21.
The Governing Board Workshop is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by the Audit Committee and Lands Committee. The Final Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget will start at 5:05 p.m. The District will conduct the meetings virtually to follow Governor DeSantis’ directions in Executive Order 20-52 to reduce public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The online meeting will utilize technology for visuals and telephone technology for audio. Residents and stakeholders who would like to participate in the workshop, committee meetings and public hearing are able to register at https://bit.ly/3ion1cS. A confirmation email with a link to join the online meeting will be sent after registration.
