Due to rains from Tropical Storm Fay, the Upper Suwannee, Santa Fe, Steinhatchee, Aucilla, and Econfina rivers are under a flood warning. Some District-managed tracts have become unsafe for public use or access has been cut off.
Consequently, the Steinhatchee Falls and Roline tracts, as well as the river access points at Steinhatchee Springs are closed until further notice. Access to Mallory Swamp from Bethel Walker Creek Road to East Mainline is closed. Devil's Hammock, which is co-managed with Levy County, is also closed at this time. Other tracts may close as conditions are assessed. Please use caution on tracts that are not closed as saturation and debris may pose a hazard.
