[ARCHIVED] District Public Land Tract Closures Due to Hurricane Michael

LIVE OAK, FLA., Oct. 10, 2018 – Due to Hurricane Michael, many of the Suwannee River Water Management District’s (District) public lands throughout the Suwannee Valley have been closed to public access until further notice.

District policy requires District public lands to be closed to public access during inclement weather once areas are under a tropical storm watch or higher.   

Tracts in the following counties have been closed: Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Jefferson, Madison, Lafayette, Levy, Suwannee and Taylor.
